Glossary

What is PAM?

Passport Audio Manager is a self-serve platform for small to medium-sized advertising agencies and brands that need in-house access to the digital audio universe without the hassle and high costs of intermediary platforms.

What is CPM?

CPM (cost per thousand impressions) is a media term that describes the cost of 1,000 impressions.

What is a bundle?

A bundle is a pre-defined inventory that we create for you. The information that is needed to create a bundle is as follows:

  • Bundle Name
  • Targeting (age, gender, location, device, language, contextual and behavioral segments)
  • CPM
  • Campaign duration
  • Budget
  • Impression goal

By picking a bundle, you will be able to construct a campaign more quickly and efficiently.

Note: you cannot go below the minimum CPM but you can have a higher one.

What is LTR?

LTR stands for the Listen Through Rate. It is the completion rate of your ad. It is represented in a percentage and shows how many people listened to your ad entirely. A good LTR is above 90%. This is significantly higher when comparing to VTR in video (a good VTR is 15%)
The LTR is the most important KPI in digital audio.

Account and campaigns

Can I add multiple users to my account?

Yes, you can. Go to the tab named “people” and create a new user. Simply follow the instructions and don’t forget to assign a role to this new user. A password reset email will then be sent to them.

I forgot my password – can I retrieve it?

Yes, you can. Go on the landing page and click on “Forgot your Password”. A window will appear, and you will be sent a password reset link to the email address you used to create your account. You can also get help from other users from your organization to get access, they can go on the tab named “people” and click on “users” and look for your name then. They can then click on the arrow next to “more action” and reset your password. An email will then be sent to reset your password.

Yes, you can. Click the “export” button on the top right-hand side of the reporting page. You have three choices:

  1. Magic Token: This is a URL link that you can send to your clients. This is totally transparent. They will see the exact same reporting page as you without having access to your account.

  3. PDF: the report will be exported as a PDF

No, there isn’t. You can create a campaign with no minimum budget.

Is there a minimum CPM?

Yes, there is. You can change the CPM to a higher one, but you cannot go below what is pre-written. Your CPM includes unlimited targeting options. (example of targeting: male located in California, between 25-45 y/o + Music Enthousiats)

Note: The higher the CPM, the greater the chance of timely delivery. A higher CPM is advantageous because it will take precedence over lower CPMs within the marketplace.

Can I pause and resume a campaign?

Yes, you can. You can pause or resume a campaign on your dashboard by clicking on the 3 dots icon on the right-hand side of the campaign.

Note: If you pause your campaign, you will only be charged for the delivered impressions to that date.
